All furniture is made to order unless it is an exhibition piece which can be bought as seen.
Previous furniture projects have included dining tables, butchers blocks, benches, coffee tables, dressers, beds...anything that can be made from wood!
The furniture made by Dragon Furniture tends to be solid and chunky, and will last for longer than a lifetime.
This is an extra tall solid oak kitchen table, which allows the tall men to get their legs underneath! The cost of this particular table was £800.
An example of a bed in-situ! This is solid oak frame, posts and slats accompanied by a sycamore headboard. The cost of this bed was £1,250.
This is an occasional table made of oak, a slight departure from tradition for Dragon Furniture and made by Roger, our very skilled assistant. This table would normally retail at £400.
This was our 'marmite' bed from the Royal Welsh Show 2009 (you either loved it or hated it!) made from local old barn beams and a piece of yew from a local church yard. This retailed for £2,000 at the show. Accompanying it are 2 stained solid oak blocks to use as bedside tables - very popular at the moment which retailed at £175 each.
Another slight departure from our usual furniture and kitchens, this chunky wall mirror is made of ash, as on display in the Royal Welsh Show 2009 and retails at £150.
A solid (and very heavy!) oak occasional chair, ideal as a stand alne piece in the hallway. This was made for the Royal Welsh Show 2008 and would cost £250.
